Capturing Moments

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine this scene: The sun is dipping low in the sky, casting everything in that dreamy golden glow. Your little one’s laughter rings out as they twirl in the grass. Your partner sneaks a glance at you with that look in their eye that is only reserved for you, radiating love and warmth. And for once, no one is forcing a smile at the camera or posing stiffly. You’re all just filled with joyous love and having fun. This is the kind of family photography session I live for—where moments are real, connections are front and center, and you walk away with images that feel like you.

Come As You Are

Do you ever mishear a lyric and like your version better? For the longest time, I though the lyric to the Nirvana song Come as You Are was, Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be, as a friend, as a friend, as an old memory…Turns out it was always: As an old enemy. I spent years of my life singing enemy as memory. I liked the ring of old memory a lot better don’t you?
